Kenji, a university student feeling adrift in his own life, wanders into a quiet art museum. There, before a faceless portrait called the "Blank Canvas," he meets Satsuki—a mysterious, ephemeral girl whose words seem to see right through to his soul.

What begins as a boy-meets-girl encounter quickly spirals into a quiet psychological thriller. Her questions are not for him. They are for you, the one looking through his eyes.

Vanitas eye is a short, 30-minute literary visual novel that deconstructs the very act of playing a game. As you guide Kenji closer to Satsuki, a chilling question begins to surface:

Are you helping him find love, or are you stealing it for yourself?

Vanitas eye  is currently in development. The story is not yet complete, and key features like character sprites and voice acting are not yet implemented.
